She previously worked as a nurse in mental health care for several years. The last ten years she has worked as a lecturer at University West, Trollhättan and in October 2020, she finished her PhD-studies at Halmstad University. The thesis is about health, lifestyle and the experience of lifestyle changes among people with psychotic disorder. Her research interest is in the field of mental health nursing and especially about health-promoting initiatives in mental health care.
